Data v5.7.0 gives each database its own webhooks, adds a proper address field, and makes the external v2 API more reliable and organized.
You can now set up webhooks for each database, covering both item and configuration events. Changes in one database can trigger follow-up actions without global setup, and only the right consumers get the traffic.
A new Address UI element adds Google Places autocomplete to your forms. Platform API v2 now has a Create Database endpoint. The email field on a database record can link straight to the matching CRM contact, with a tooltip and clear message if there is no match. The Databases list now shows how many items are soft-deleted, so you know what you can recover.
Array-type field values are now stored as arrays in the v2 item API. The Databases list response uses the standard format. Image and file URLs now appear in external item API results, and custom database lookup queries return database_id. Data source columns now show the display value instead of a raw UUID in both the list and the v2 API. The Reports date filter now uses your instance's localization format. Fixes: multi-select and data source lookup fields now restore their saved values, address fields repopulate correctly, and emojis no longer get corrupted during import. Import jobs now finish properly, quotes and backslashes do not corrupt property values, duplicate webhook records have been removed, and the items view no longer crashes on deprecated field types. Axios is now updated to 1.19.0.
The external v2 API now lives at /data/api/v2, and the /databases prefix is deprecated. The database segment in v2 item API paths is now plural, and external v2 item updates have changed from PUT to PATCH. The dot notation payload format for item add and update is now documented. Review the updated Data API documentation before you upgrade.
